mastering lcd monitor repair
This is story of one of my friend Hendry he just bought a 17 inch flat panel monitor and after couple of days he seeing a few tiny dots on it no bigger than pinheads. Actually the colors are red and one is green. Occasionally they appear when Hendy switch it on, and that is the exact color of my lcd monitor in my internet cybercafe which is need to be repair by the expert. And it stay the same color when I’m using the PC and disappear when I turn the screen off. After I read the lcd monitor repair book which I bought for my cybercafe guide and it is not normal.
From my experience for this kind there are three kinds of problem that can have with pixels on LCD monitor:
* Dead Pixel - Usually this condition happen when the pixel remains black all the time.
* Lit pixels - This is when a pixel remains lit all the time.
* Colored pixel - Where a pixel is stuck in one color mode.
It’s like I have a problem with some of the pixels on the screen. So the work is the pixels are makes some little dots in the screen which is work together to make the picture you see. Each pixel is composed of three colors (red, green and blue) and can display a range of colors from black to white.
